Task Codes

If your finance system is connected to Antidote and task codes have been mapped, Antidote can check that time entries use the correct task code for the matter.

note

Task code mapping is configured with the help of Antidote support. Contact [email protected] to set this up for your firm.

Task code sets

Once task code mapping is in place, matters will show a task code set if one is present in the matter metadata imported from your finance system.

Antidote currently supports the following UTBMS task code sets:

  • Litigation
  • Project
  • Counseling
  • Bankruptcy
info

Additional code sets can be supported in future, including manual code sets created for your firm. To set one up, provide a detailed description of each code and when it applies, and we can create the code set within your environment for use with your clients.

Checking task codes

To check task codes on time entries, add the Task Code rule to a ruleset. See Task Code in Common Rules for details on configuring the rule, including the optional fallback task code set.

Once task codes are being checked, the task code shows in the list of time entries. If a time entry uses the wrong task code, Antidote will suggest a correction - see Types of suggestion for how to act on a task code suggestion.
